Well, here it is. My first post. People have been telling me for a few years that I needed my own blog so here it is. Here is a little background on me. I am 32 years old and single. I am looking for someone to make me go from a "me" to a "we".
I went to college and quickly became a professional freshmen but never graduated because I played around too much and partied. Usually this would qualify me to bag fries at the nearest McDonalds. Luckily, I caught a break and work for an interior designer, lets just call her D. She's wild and crazy and a truly gifted decorator. Our clients are sometimes great, sometimes insane. You never know what you're going to get with them but it's a good job that is never boring so I'm lucky. I'm also lucky because I have a lot of freedom with this job and also paid vacation time. Yipee!!! I think that paid vacation time is one of the most important perks that comes with this job especially because I believe that if you work hard you have to play hard.
I live with my Grandmother (Grammy) who is 80 years old and doesn't look it at all! Grammy is a seamstress and does alterations. She likes to get up everyday and go to work. I suspect it's mostly so she has people to gossip with all day but hey, whatever works for you. I'm lucky that I get to spend this time with her and help her out around the house. She's lucky that I moved in with all of my animals.
Grammy has never been an animal person but she is one now. Okay, so she's a closeted animal person. She secretly loves them all except for Meggie the calico cat. She swears that when Meggie meows that she's calling her a witch with a "B"! Gram loves Taddy the little yellow cat. And he loves her. He loves to rub on her legs and then run away before she can kick at him. She even likes Cocoa the tabby cat who is such a scaredy cat that she won't come in the house and runs away if you approach her. Cocoa lives in the culvert under our driveway.
I think that this is about enough for now but make sure to keep checking back in. I'm hoping to post some pictures this evening. Until then......
